#FutureForFriday | The School strike for climate is an international movement of school students who are deciding not to attend classes and instead take part in demonstrations to demand action to prevent further global warming and climate change.

GreenPeace Canada | Uses peaceful protest to work towards a greener, more peaceful world.

IFIXIT | A website with free repair manuals and instructions for fixing all kinds of things from tablets to teddy bears.

Plastic Pollution Coalition | Plastic Pollution Coalition is a growing global alliance of individuals, organizations, businesses, and policymakers working toward a world free of plastic pollution and its toxic impacts on humans, animals, waterways and oceans, and the environment.

Soil Carbon Coalition | A nonprofit organization wanting to advance the practice, and spread awareness of the opportunity, of turning atmospheric carbon into living landscapes and soil carbon (such as soil life, organic matter, humus, etc.). 

Soil Health Coalition | Monitoring soil carbon levels and water infiltration rates at local farms over time at different sites on each farm. Connecting farmers with each other to promote health soil practices. The Soil Health Coalition of Erin is now recruiting Citizen Scientists who would like to volunteer to be trained and to measure soil and water parameters on local farms.

TerraCycle | Is a recycling company that recycles hard-to-recycle materials. It runs a volunteer-based curbside collection program to collect non-recyclable pre-consumer and post-consumer waste, and then partners with corporate donors to turn it into raw material to be used in new products.

OLIO | A mobile app for food-sharing, aiming to reduce food waste. It does this by connecting those with surplus food to those who need or wish to consume such food. The food must be edible; it can be raw or cooked, sealed or open.
